As a soloist and choral artist, Ms. Franco has performed repertoire from Gregorian Chant to CCM, in halls across the US and in Italy. Her versatile sound is equally at home on the opera stage, in chamber music, and singing American standards or Broadway. An excellent reader with an extensive sacred and concert repertoire, since the birth of her son she has focused on local regional work, including three seasons each with Opera Tampa and St. Petersburg Opera. Last fall she performed with The Florida Orchestra [TFO] on their One Giant Leap Educational Outreach program, and was also soprano soloist with The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay in Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms conducted by Eric Whitacre.
Over the past few months our world has much changed; Ms. Franco looks forward to when cancelled engagements may be safely rescheduled. In the meantime she is working on virtual collaborations, including features with TFO and First Presbyterian Church.
